The Wildlife Center of Virginia was formed in 1982 to
provide quality health care, often on an emergency basis,
to native wildlife. In 2007, the Wildlife Center received
the National Conservation Achievement Award as the Conservation

their own recreation and companionship in the streets.
An increasing number of children are at home with no
adult care or supervision. Young people need to know
that someone cares about them. Boys & Girls Clubs
offer that and more. Club programs and services promote
and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling
a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.
We serve over 1,100 members annually at our eight Club
locations. Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to
learn and grow -- all while having fun. It is truly

Wintergreen
Performing Arts
Located in Virginia's Blue Ridge
Mountains, Wintergreen Performing Arts, Inc. is a non-profit
organization that produces a high-quality summer music
festival featuring symphonic and chamber concerts, as
well as other performing arts programs throughout the
year. Education is a major part of our mission, reflected
both in the Wintergreen Summer Music Academy and in
outreach programs for those living in the surrounding
area. By attracting first-rate musicians to participate
as performers and educators, we strive to enrich the
lives of all--residents and visitors alike--who share
the unique Wintergreen experience.

The mission of Garth Newel is to share, explore and
celebrate the infinite variety of chamber music in an
intimate setting of natural beauty. This mission is
nourished and sustained through high-quality performances,

our education programs include the Summer Student Fellowship
Program for outstanding young instrumentalists (ages
18-26), the Amateur Chamber Music Workshop, and the
Suzuki Violin Program.
